Happy Monday, everyone! Last week I discussed 4 winter car care tips: wipers, battery, brakes and lights. This week I will finish the list that includes: tires, tune-ups, exhaust, gas tank and antifreeze.
Today we will tackle tires and exhaust. Do you know what shape your tires are in? Good tires are a real safety issue every time of the year; but especially in the winter. You will want to consider tire pressure, tread depth, rotation/balance and the condition of the tires.
You can find several posts on tires on our website at: bobsautolax.com Scroll down and you will find Recent Posts on the right side. Type in “tires” in the categories box. You will have access to 24 posts that discuss tires.
What do you need to know about exhausts and winter? You need to know if your exhaust is leaking carbon monoxide. This is so VERY important in the winter when our windows are closed most of the time.

Tomorrow I will talk about antifreeze and tune-ups.
