Power windows are a luxury that we sometimes take for granted and when they fail, we panic! Our daughters’ first cars had manual windows and locks. They have since upgraded and are very appreciative for these powered features on their cars.
When an electric window stops working it is most likely due to a bad switch or a broken regulator. The regulator is the motor that lifts and lowers the glass. The first step is to test the switch and replace if needed.
If the regulator is good then it will require some more diagnostic time to find the root of the problem.
