Yep, these are sockets! You can see that there are small and large ones. Each tech owns their own metric and standard socket sets.

The smaller ones are used every day for repairs. The largest ones are used on axle shafts.

A set of O2/oxygen sensors

If you look carefully, I have circled 2 sockets that are a little different. These are  02/oxygen sensor sockets. They have a cut out or groove on one side. This is for wires fit in the cut out groove so that they are not cut during a repair.
