Winter Solstice and Great Conjunction
Today is officially the first day of Winter; also known as the Winter Solstice. It is the day with the fewest hours of sunlight in the whole year. How’s that for some Monday cheer? LOL
On the brighter side; the days will gradually become longer starting tomorrow!
Also, tonight is the night for the Great Conjunction. If the clouds clear, around 5:30pm to the south-west, we will be able to see Saturn and Jupiter align creating a very bright star (light). Some people call it the “Christmas Star”.
Have a super Monday everyone.
