Put on the wrong catalytic converter! We discovered this after the fact when the check engine came back on. But we still took our car back several times hoping to not run into a similar situation. More recently, we had our car in for diagnosis and were given a loaner. We were sitting outside a store in the parking lot when it started smoking! Called Bob's who then called a tow truck. We didn't want to wait with our child for an hour + so we were forced to pay for an Uber back to the repair shop. We get back there and our car still isn't done. We got our diagnosis and were on our way. Then, traction control off came on suddenly. Car started to run rough. Called Bob's and Nelson said it was "nothing we did." Why did it come on after you were just tinkering with our car for hours? Not taking our car back ever again! You were given too many chances and you messed up our car.

Very nice staff and service repair personnel. Would highly recommend. Clean waiting area also. Mine was a light being out but they was willing to do it. Very thankful they took the time to help.

Everyone at Bob's was great to work with. With my daughter being 4 hours away from me in college, it's nice to have a good/reliable place for her to go when she needs work done. Would highly recommend!

Rather quick service, very direct and to the point. Didn't get jerked around, pressured into false sales pitches, lied to or anything that usually comes with automotive shops. Let alone one working on foreign cars which is usually the worse! I asked for a specific service, they gave me the quote and stuck to it. I was advised that they would contact me BEFORE engaging in work beyond that quote, which was a comforting feeling and usually where shops get ya. In today's world that's as good as it gets. I will be back if need be in the future! Bobs is the real deal.

Absolutely no work gets completed until our customers receive the DVI (digital visual inspection) and we have discussed the results. Then repairs will be completed for any work our customers approve. Went in for my brakes. Price was fair, got me in relatively short notice, didn't have to pay any extra for a loaner, and my car drives much better now. I'll be back

I had Bob's servicing "mystery" problems which ending up requiring a taking longer than usual to diagnosis and service. Nelson kept in consistent communication with me regarding what they were finding and how we could most effectively proceed in the most cost-effective way. John, the mechanic, took me out for a drive to experience and discuss options for addressing the issue. Thanks for the great service!

I brought my car in since it would not start without revving. I explained how I replaced the battery and filter but had no other knowledge of cars. The people at Bob’s auto were very communicative with me and took my car in that afternoon. The next day, I was given a quote and had the issue finished by the end of that day! I didn’t even have the car in the shop for 24 hours. They also sent a full review of the visit with pictures of possible trouble spots in the future and explanations of solutions. I highly recommend Bob’s auto if you’re in the La crosse area!
