I was driving down the streets of Onalaska on my way to my sister's place for a short visit today. I happened to drive past a daycare in which the kids were outside playing. One of the rubber balls had been kicked over the fence. Several kids were looking with frowns on their faces as the ball rolled across the road to the curb. A lady traveling in the direction of the ball, stopped, picked it up and returned it to the kids! Not only did the kids shout with glee for getting their ball back, but this very thoughtful lady had a big smile too! Go out there and make someone's evening special!

Tackle Box season will be here soon! With that will be opportunities to set aside our electronic devices and enjoy each other's company. Enjoy the upcoming warm spring days... I know we will be enjoying them soon!

I am thankful for my grandma's daily oranges. Let me explain... My Grandma always had a bowl of cereal (usually bran flakes) along with an orange EVERY day for breakfast. I don't remember her eating anything else. To this day when I am eating an orange, I get to reflect upon some wonderful, sweet memories of Grandma! Who knew something so simple could create such wonderful memories that I am SO thankful for! ... read more
