Shocks are the main component of a vehicle's suspension system. But there are other key parts to this system as well. Springs, control arms and sway bars are the other main parts. All 4 of these parts work together to give you the smooth ride that you expect.
Some indications of a suspension issue could be: 1. car is bouncing more than usual 2. uneven tire wear 3. nose diving or rear squatting 4. knocking or clunking sounds
While these are some rather overt indications of an issue; it is a good idea to have your suspension looked at once per year. Like many things on our vehicles, a poorly working suspension can lead to other issues and become more costly than necessary.
If you notice your ride is not as smooth as it normally is, give us a call to have a look. 608-782-1375
