Defroster in the Winter

Defroster in the Winter

Have you been using your vehicle's defroster this Fall? With the cooler temps and moisture in the air, our defrosters are getting the job done keeping our windshields nice and clear. The defroster is a part of both the cooling and the air conditioning systems. Both systems are used to get moisture off the inside and outside of your windows. So, if your air conditioner is not working YOU WILL have problems with your vehicle defrosting your vehicle's windows! A problem with the defrost system can most often be traced to one of the following: **The cooling system **The heater core **The heater valves or blend air doors **The air conditioning system ** The blower fan Be safe this winter. Give us a call if you have any questions about your cooling or A/C systems. 608-782-1375.

The alternator feeds power to the electrical system for your entertainment system, accessories and charging ports. The battery gets recharged with any extra electrical power. A failing (failed) alternator may not be able to keep the battery charged. Most often, when the alternator fails it is due to bearings failing and seizing up. You might hear a grinding noise or even an electrical smell. There are other symptoms your vehicle may be showing as well. It's best to get your vehicle in for an inspection with a trained technician for diagnosing your vehicle's issue(s). You may contact us at 608-782-1375 or ... read more
