Heated Seats For the Win!

Heated Seats For the Win!

Heated seats in automobiles.... do you have them? Do you wish you had heated seats? They are a luxury that many of us Wisconsinites have been spoiled with! Heated seats have become an almost necessity. On really cold days, like today, I can vividly recall feeling the intense heat from my seat set on High! To achieve that intense heat an electrical heating element is connected to the car's electrical system. You can choose Low, Med or High for temperature and manually control the level of heat you desire. Some vehicles will have a seat thermostat that will regulate the amount of heat needed based upon the temperature that is set. I don't have this fancy of a seat, but I sure do LOVE my heated seats!

Battery Life in Cold Weather

Battery Life in Cold Weather

As temperatures dropped recently, so did your car battery's ability to hold a charge. Unfortunately, some of you may have experienced this during our last cold snap. Cold weather can make starting your car difficult. The current forecast is showing some mighty nice temps through Sunday 2/2. Then more seasonal temps for the next several days. NOW would be a great time to get that battery replaced if you had issues during the last cold spell. Don't delay... better during warmer weather than after a no-start on a much colder day.   Here is a link for more information on winter battery care: Winter is Here: How Cold and Snow Impact Batteries
